Residents are welcome to join Councilman Tom Simplot for this month's central area community meeting at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at Alexi’s Grill, 3550 N. Central Ave. (one block north of the Central and Osborn Road light rail stop).  

This month’s guest speaker will be City Manager David Cavazos, who will share his perspective as the city moves into a new era with new a mayor and council.

As a reminder, Councilman Simplot will continue to host two community meetings every month throughout the year.  The central area meetings will be at 7:30 a.m. every third Thursday of the month, at Alexi’s Grill. The westside community meetings will be at 7:30 a.m. every fourth Thursday of the month, (Thursday, Jan. 26 will be next meeting date) at Bill Johnson’s Big Apple, 3101 W. Indian School Road.  Residents are welcome to join Councilman Simplot and his staff each month.  Visit phoenix.gov/district4 to find out who the guest speakers will be at each meeting.
