With more than 600 employees under its Solid Waste arm, Phoenix Public Works provides trash, recycling and other waste diversion services to more than 400,000 households. Public Works Updates

​​NEW: Appointment-Based Bulk Trash​
A bulk trash equipment operator uses a tractor to place trash into a rear loader garbage truck.

The bulk trash program is changing to appointment-based collection. Starting September 30, customers must make an appointment to have their bulk items collected. Each customer household is allowed 4 scheduled pickups per year. Quarterly collection by region will be replaced with appointment-based collection beginning September 30, 2024. Learn more about other program changes, benefits, and guidelines.​​
